Pandey aka Salman Khan's much-awaited Dabangg 2 satellite
rights have been snapped up for a record of Rs 48-50 crore by Star Network for
11 years, a trade source (close to the deal) informed a leading daily.
Adding to this, the music rights were sold for
over Rs 10 crore by T-Series. Salman, who recently got back from Cuba where he
was shooting for his upcoming movie Ek Tha Tiger, will start the shooting for Dabangg 2 next week in Mumbai.
Star Gold's senior vice-president refused to
share the details of the deal and the price with the leading daily. Earlier,
Hrithik Roshan's Krissh and
the Shahrukh Khan's Don 2 were sold to Sony for Rs 37
crore each. Aamir Khan's Talaash and Karan Johar's Agneepath went
for Rs 40 crore, as reports say.
